Dynamos scored their first-ever goal at Baobab stadium in a Premier Soccer league match, but it was not enough to give them victory over Ngezi Platinum as they eventually lost 2-1.
Enterprise midfielder, Donald Mudadi converted a beautiful solo effort in the first half to give Dynamos their first-ever goal at Baobab stadium since Ngezi Platinum Stars were promoted into the top flight in 2016.
However, the hosts came back a rejuvenated side and scored two goals, owing to sloppiness on the part of the goalkeeper, Tymon Mvula.
The loss means that Dynamos have not won a match in five attempts, as they had four consecutive draws before this Sunday’s loss.
“We are still in the race no one has opened a big lead and we will come back good and the goals will come,” said Dynamos coach, Hebert Maruwa.
Ngezi Platinum Stars have returned to the top of the log with 21 points.
Ngezi Platinum Stars coach Takesure Chiragwi told the ZBC News, “The win is good it gives us three points and makes the guys believe and the win was very good.”
In other matches, CAPS United were held one-all by Simba Bhora, while Highlanders also shared the spoils one-all against Green Fuel.
Triangle and Sheasham played out to a goalless draw at Gibbo Stadium.
Action concludes on Monday with ZPC Kariba dating Chicken Inn at the National Sports Stadium.
