Black Rhinos part ways with Stanford Mutizwa

Black Rhinos have parted ways with coach Stanford ‘Stix’ Mutizwa after a string of poor results.

The development was confirmed by Black Rhinos Secretary General, Colonel Edward Mutukwa.

The veteran coach leaves the team in 17th position with five points from seven matches.

Black Rhinos have won just one match over struggling fellow army side, Cranborne Bullets.

A club legend, Mutizwa took over from current Dynamos Coach Herbert Maruwa who was fired last season.

Mutizwa led the army side to a ninth-place finish last year but the club decided to take a new approach and released most of the seasoned players.

The only players with premier league experience are Prince Milanzi, Stead Mudzengerere, Christopher Brighton, veterans Gift Saunyama and Allan Gahadzikwa who are at the tail-end of their careers.
