NGEZI Platinum Stars developmental side maintained its perfect start to the season after beating Omnia two-nil at Baobab stadium on Saturday.
A goal in each half by Kudakwashe Mangena gave the Young Platinum miners their fifth victory of the season.
New boys Omnia gave a good fight, but that was not enough against a determined Ngezi Platinum side.
In other matches, Black Mambas moved into second, four points behind the log leaders after beating Shamva Mine FC one-nil at Trojan Stadium, while former Premier Soccer league side Harare City edged Pam FC 2-1.
In the Central Region, former premiership sides Chapungu and TelOne met in a match of the weekend and at the end of the 90 minutes, the two settled for a one-all draw.
The draw leaves TelOne on seven points same as log leaders Tongogara which walked over Shabanie Mine three-nil after the Zvishavane-based side failed to turn up for their match.
Chapungu is in third with five points, while Beitbridge side Dulibadzimu concludes the top four.
