ZIMBABWE stands to benefit from the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) by adapting policies towards improving the quality of goods and services produced by local firms.
This will be under discussion at the COMESA Competion Commission press briefing in Mauritius this morning where the Commission director, Dr Willard Mwemba will deliver a presentation on current market trends in the regional trading bloc.
Some of the issues to be discussed include regulations that protect the consumers, supplying safe products, treat consumers fairly among others.
