The Zimbabwean (16), got the better of South Africa‘s Rudiger Dusselberg 2-6, 7-5, 6-4.

Milosavlijevic is confident of taking good form to the second round of the tournament this week.

“I am really happy that I have won the first round. My target now is to concentrate on the second round of the tournament. This win will motivate me to do even better in the coming second round of this tournament,” he said.

Milosavlijevic, who won the first round after conceding defeat in one set, carved his career at the age of six and was in the books of Harare Tennis Club before relocating to Serbia.
