GIANT killers, Japan are plotting another upset when they face Croatia in a 2022 FIFA World Cup round of 16 encounters in Qatar this Monday.
Japan, who got the better of European giants Spain and Germany in Group E, are hoping to take the good form to the last 16 where they clash with 2018 world cup runners up Croatia this evening.
However, Croatia, who finished second in their group are no pushovers after reaching the World Cup final four years ago.
The two teams will clash at Al Janoub Stadium at 5 pm.
The action continues at 9 pm as pre-tournament favourites Brazil square off with South Korea.
In matches played on Sunday, Kylian Mbappe scored a superb brace after Olivier Giroud’s opener to send reigning champions, France to the quarter-finals.
African champions, Senegal fell at the hands of England, whose 3-nil victory saw them booking a quarterfinal berth against France.
