HARARE giants Dynamos have reportedly turned to former Black Rhinos Coach Herbert Maruwa to replace Tonderayi Ndiraya, whose contract will not be renewed by the Glamour boys.

After announcing that they would not renew Ndiraya’s contract, Dynamos are acting swiftly to fill the void as they hope to mount a serious title challenge next season.

Affectionately known as ‘Jompano,’ Maruwa worked as a juniors coach at Dynamos before joining the first team technical department under trailblazing coach, Kalisto Pasuwa.

Maruwa spent five years in charge of Black Rhinos, where he built a competitive side before he was fired for what the club termed ‘unbecoming behaviour’.

Asked for confirmation, Dynamos Spokesperson, Tinashe Farawo was elusive.

“The coach is coming soon, we are not going to create a vacuum, we will announce soon,” he said.

Indications are that Maruwa who also had a stint in Swaziland will be assisted by Genesis Mangombe, credited for the attacking brand of football at Yadah.

The new technical team could also signal the return of outspoken coach, Lloyd Chigove popularly known as MaBlanyo, who is expected to join the first team technical department by virtue of him being the Dynamos Juniors coach.
