SMALL to Medium Scale and Strategic Institutions which exhibited at the just ended ZANU PF 7th National Peoples Conference demonstrated their capacity to produce and value add quality products which match international standards.
Speaking to ZBC News, the Minister of Small to Medium Enterprises, Dr Sithembiso Nyoni said, “We are very grateful about the turnout and quality of products being exhibited by our SMES to our local delegates and the foreign ones. The products are of international standards, so we are proud of the Second Republic and ZANU PF for affording SMES to showcase their goods.”
ZANU Secretary for Finance, Cde Patrick Chinamasa was impressed by the ingenuity demonstrated by strategic institutions to come up with homemade products and inventions.
“The congress has provided a platform for our institutions and SMES to showcase their ability to make our own goods which can compete at the international market. As the peoples party we will continue to avail funding and opportunities for our people to do business,” he said.
Exhibitors expressed their gratitude to President Emmerson Mnangagwa for his vision of leaving no one and no place behind.
“We are delighted by our the mantra by President that ‘Nyika Inovakwa Nevene Vayo. We are the people, we are technocrats so nothing can stop up from inventing our own wheels,” said an exhibitor.
“As SMES, we are getting funding in terms of loans from government through banks, so we feel empowered that is why we are here to complement our President in his endeavor to build our economy,” added another.
The exhibitions attracted the attention of the First Family, local and foreign delegates who took time to share business ideas during the Congress.
