Zimbabwe hopes for change of fortune against South Africa

ZIMBABWE Under 19 women’s cricket team are hoping for better fortunes when they clash against South Africa in the third encounter at the ongoing International Cricket Council T20 World Cup Qualifiers this Tuesday.

The Young Lady Chevrons began their World Cup qualification campaign with a sluggish start after South Africa took the first win by 9 runs.

The hosts went on to pile more pressure on the visitors after taking a step further to lead the five-match series by 2-nil after a 104-run victory in the second encounter.

Going into the third match this Tuesday, Zimbabwe is hoping to turn the tables if they win all the remaining three matches.

Zimbabwe was drawn in pool B alongside England, Rwanda and Pakistan as they prepare for the inaugural ICC Under 19 Women Cricket World Cup slated for South Africa in January next year.
