Dynamos hope to upstage FC Platinum

TITLE-chasing Dynamos are still confident of their chances of winning the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League title despite what seems like a difficult task in upstaging log leaders FC Platinum.
Dynamos trail log leaders FC Platinum by six points, with nine matches to go before the end of the season.
FC Platinum are renowned for their resilience once they sit at the top of the log, but Dynamos are hoping for a rare slip-up.
“We just do what we can and we need to do our part and that is to win our matches and this Sunday we need to collect maximum points in case they slip up, but we are not giving up,” said Tonderai Ndiraya, Dynamos coach.
The Glamour Boys failed to capitalise last weekend after FC Platinum dropped points, while Dynamos settled for a share of the spoils with ZPC Kariba.
DeMbare have a date against Harare City at the National Sports Stadium this Sunday, while FC Platinum host Manica Diamonds a day earlier.
Action, however, starts on Friday with Yadah taking on Highlanders at the National Sports Stadium.
Despite losing their last match, Yadah were in good form after going on a six-match unbeaten run, while Highlanders have not won in the capital all season.
Saturday sees relegation-threatened Cranborne Bullets taking on equally troubled Whawha at Vhengere Stadium, while Chicken Inn host Ngezi Platinum Stars at Luveve Stadium.
CAPS United and Herentals clash in a potentially explosive encounter at the National Sports Stadium.
On Sunday, Tenax takes on ZPC Kariba at Vhengere Stadium, Bulawayo Chiefs are up against Black Rhinos at Luveve, while Triangle battle Bulawayo City at Gibbo.
