THE Zimbabwe national cricket team, the Chevrons produced another brilliant display, posting a 5 wicket victory over Bangladesh , there by taking an unassailable two-nil lead in the three match One Day International at Harare Sports Club this Sunday.
Bangladesh went into the second ODI against the Chevrons missing their key opener Litton Das who is suffering from a hamstring injury which will keep him out of action for at least three weeks.
Zimbabwe won the toss and opted to field first.
The visitors set a 291 run target and it was never a worry to the Chevrons as they had chased down to 300 before.
The duo of Sikandar Raza with 68 and Regis Chakabva with 61 helped the Chevrons to post a total of 121 runs leading the Chevrons to 170 runs for a loss of 4 wickets as Zimbabwe needed 121 runs from 18 overs.
Raza was once again the toast of the Chevrons as he posted another century.
