REJUVENATED Bulawayo City have vowed to give Highlanders a good run for their money when the two sides collide in a Bulawayo derby slated for Barbourfields stadium this Sunday.
Bulawayo City have been on a revival path having won their last three games going into this weekend’s encounter against City rivals Highlanders.
Despite turning the corner after a boardroom shake up, Bulawayo city are not out of the woods yet, setting the stage for an explosive derby.
Bulawayo City head Coach Farai Tawachera is aiming for nothing short of victory.
“Another tricky game we are coming from a win and they are coming from a loss. So they would want to come and change everything but we are ready for the challenge as we cannot afford to drop points when other teams in the relegation zone are winning,” he said.
The three wins have lifted Bulawayo City from the bottom of the log but they are still in the relegation zone with 21 points just three points above bottom placed Whawha.
Bulawayo City will also have to find a way to do without Captain Vincent Moyo who has crossed the floor to City rivals Chicken Inn.
