THE Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee has released judgment on the Highlanders-Dynamos match which was abandoned after incidents of violence and hooliganism at Barbourfields Stadium on the 15th of May.
The match has been awarded to Highlanders on a 3-nil scoreline, while the two teams have each been fined.
This was revealed by the Premier Soccer League in a statement released this Thursday.
“Dynamos FC have been found guilty of breaching PSL regulations and fined a sum of $US7 500 together with costs of the hearing. In addition, the match has been awarded to HIGHLANDERS FC on a three nil scoreline. Highlanders FC were also found guilty and fined $US5 000. The fine together with the costs of the hearing shall be paid within 15 days of receiving the judgment,” reads the statement.
The match, played on the 15th of May was abandoned in the 88th minute after a long stoppage due to crowd trouble that resulted after Bosso took a late lead.
