HARARE City Coach Taurai Mangwiro is confident of a turnaround of fortunes when the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League resumes for the second half of the season next week.
The Sunshine Boys are taking advantage of the mid-season break to refocus after poor goal return in the first-half of the season.
11th position and 18 points is not the kind of placement that Taurai Mangwiro would have wanted after retracing his footsteps to turn things around at the Sunshine boys.
There is a solution in sight though, with the respected gaffer hoping to add at least four new players during the mid season transfer window.
“As a team we want to challenge ourselves not only to improve the team’s position but also the performance. When I was evaluating the first half of the season, I realised that we don’t have too many changes but we intend to have four youngsters that we have been working with to strengthen the team,” said Mangwiro.
Harare City are in talks to ink a deal with Alexander Mandinyenya from Inter Harare while Learnmore Muzarurwi, Jacob Kandemwa and Tanaka Makaripi are set to elevated from Harare City Juniors.
With the PSL season set to resume on the 24th of this month, Harare City should be in the right frame of mind to face unpredictable Herentals.
