The Zimbabwe cricket team, the Chevrons, once again surrendered their T20 series to the visitors Afghanistan who lead by 2-nil with a game to spare at the Harare Sports Club this Sunday.
In the second T20 match the tourists won the toss and chose to bat first setting a burning challenge for Zimbabwe to target 171 runs after posting 170 for a loss of 5 wickets.
The Chevrons had already surrendered following a slow chase to meet a huge target with a poor game play.
The hosts struggled to reach the finishing line after posting a total of 142 runs for a loss of six wickets in 19.2 overs.
It has been a game for Afghanistan as they won by 21 runs to take a 2-nil lead of the three-match T20 series.
However, Zimbabwe can be consoled by a spectacular play by Innocent Kaia after reaching half a century off 52 balls.
