DEFENDING Premier Soccer League champions, FC Platinum will be looking to get into the top four when they take on Yadah this afternoon at the National Sports Stadium.

With all the headlines grabbed by the battle of Zimbabwe pitting Highlanders and Dynamos at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday, defending Premier Soccer League champions FC Platinum are hoping to continue with their ascendency on the log after a slow start to the premiership season.

FC Platinum have lost once in their last five matches and have a date with an equally improving Yadah side that has won three in the last five matches.

A win for FC Platinum will see them moving to third on the log as they have a better goal difference over Triangle, while victory for Yadah will see them move into tenth place, above struggling giants, Caps United and Highlanders.

This Saturday, Ngezi Platinum Stars host Tenax at Baobab Stadium, looking for a positive result after a troublesome few weeks on the administrative side.

Herentals, who have been playing better this season, take on Bulawayo Chiefs at the National Sports Stadium, while a battle of new coaches is set for Barbourfields Stadium where Bulawayo City face ZPC Kariba.

Whawha, who have been failing to turn their beautiful game into results, will be hoping to get their third win of the season when they take on Harare City whose game is easy on the eye but lacks corresponding results.

Sunday has tantalising fixtures to look out for but the standout is the Battle of Zimbabwe as log leaders Dynamos revisit Barbourfields stadium just three weeks after losing to Highlanders in the Uhuru Cup final.

However, Dembare go into the match on a high hoping to take their unbeaten run to ten games.

Since losing to Chicken Inn in February, the Harare giants have won seven matches and drawn two, while for Highlanders the situation is totally different with the Bulawayo giants struggling for form.

Bosso is winless in their last five encounters but the form book is usually thrown away in such encounters.

While Bulawayo will be buzzing, the capital will be lit up as second-placed Chicken Inn visit the National Sports Stadium for a date against Caps United.

Caps United will be looking to arrest a slump that has seen them losing their last three matches, while Chicken Inn will be looking to keep tabs with Dynamos at the top of the log.

In other matches, Manica Diamonds host Black Rhinos at Sakubva Stadium in Mutare, while Gibbo Stadium in Chiredzi will be the setting for the clash between Triangle and Cranborne Bullets.
