Former players are expecting a close contest when giants Highlanders and Dynamos clash in a league encounter set for Barbourfields stadium this Sunday.
The match however comes on the back of contrasting fortunes with Dynamos at top of the log standings, 14 points ahead of their rivals.
But then, it has been a while since Dynamos beat Highlanders in a league match.
Recent statistics in Premier League encounters point to a Highlanders Victory with Bosso having won 4 out of their last five league matches with the other match ending in draw.
Former Dynamos goalkeeper Artwel Mukandi is expecting a close contest.
“This match is going to be a difficult match for both sides considering that they all drew in their previous games, but we shall witness a mouthwatering match although the atmosphere and morale these days is low comparing with the days we played football. Nevertheless, we expect an entertaining game,” he said.
On the other hand, former Warriors centre Thomas Sweswe, who played for both Highlanders and Dynamos, knows how tough it is to play at Babourfields Stadium.
“It’s not going to be an easy game for Dynamos because Highlanders are a beast when it comes to playing at Barbourfields. Basically, it’s going to be a tough game. We hope Dynamos will not go with the mentality of losing to Highlanders,” said Sweswe.
It remains to be seen who will come out victorious and earn the bragging rights, come the end of day on Sunday.
