THE Zimbabwe Handball national team is back in camp ahead of the Regional Zone six games set for Harare in June.
As the clock continues to tick towards the Regional Zone six handball tournament set for Harare in June, the national handball team has stepped up preparations with another training camp.
Although there was a slight delay for Allan Mandeya’s charges to go into camp, it is all systems go at the Chitungwiza Aquatic complex.
The Zimbabwe Handball Federation is also on course to revamp the two venues that will be host the regional showpiece.
“Team Zimbabwe has resumed preparations for the hosting of the event the state of preparedness in regards to facilities there’s still some final touches to be done in terms of playing surface and also improvement of the lighting system within the hall in Chitungwiza,” saidEdison Chiroodza ZHF secretary General.
Zimbabwe will host Zambia, Botswana, South Africa, Eswatini, Lesotho, Mozambique and Malawi who have accepted invitations for the tournament, which comes ahead of the Africa Handball Nations Cup slated for August in Rwanda.
