The Zimbabwe Under -21 women hockey team takes on Netherlands in their last pool A match at the ongoing Junior World Cup in Potchefstroom, South Africa this afternoon.
Zimbabwe opened the tournament with a 2-1 win against Canada before going down 5-0 to the United States.
The match against heavyweights Netherlands is expected to be Zimbabwe’s toughest with their opponents being one of the tournament favourites.
The Netherlands are at the summit of Pool A with six points, while the United States and Zimbabwe have three points apiece and are separated by goal difference.
The Top two teams from each of the four pools will progress to the quarter-finals.
