Bosso host Herentals at Barbourfields Stadium this Sunday

UNDER fire Highlanders coach Mandla Mpofu has pleaded for patience from angry Bosso fans saying the team will get it right starting with their match against Herentals at Babourfields Stadium this Sunday.

The struggling Bulawayo giants’ draw against new boys Tenax at Sakubva Stadium last Sunday, which came after a 1-0 defeat to Bulawayo City, drew the anger of Bosso fans, with some feeling vindicated for their lack of faith in Mpofu.

Facing a tricky encounter at home against Herentals this Sunday, Mpofu says they have what it takes to change the team fortunes.

“I can say that we drew some positives from the Tenax game in Mutare and we are hoping for a change. I talked to the boys and we assured each other that it is now or never, but three points on the way,” he said.

Bosso, who are in an unfamiliar 14th position after one win and three draws in six matches, are hoping to add new faces to their squad before the transfer window closes at the end of this month.

Meanwhile, ambitious Bulawayo Chiefs, who are away to ZPC Kariba at Nyamhunga Stadium this Saturday, are looking for nothing short of victory.

“We saw how they fared against reigning champions. It gave us an insight of who are they and I think they are doing well, but come Saturday, we going to do justice and win the game at all costs,” said Nilton Terroso, Bulawayo Chiefs head coach.

The topflight league enters matchday seven this weekend.
