ZIMBABWE’S diplomatic offensive through the engagement and re-engagement agenda is bearing political and economic fruits with various agreements being sealed at the ongoing Expo 2020 Dubai.
Over the past three years, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade has been pushing this agenda at different trade expos internally and externally.
It is, however, at the ongoing Expo 2020 Dubai that Zimbabwe has registered significant progress as alluded to by Foreign Affairs and International Trade Deputy Minister, Honourable David Musabayana.
“Ever since we undertook the engagement and re-engagement agenda we have witnessed good progress, but it is Expo 2020 Dubai that will certainly help Zimbabwe going forward,” he said.
Honourable Musabayana also underscored the need to continue with the current policy stance that is attracting foreign investors.
“Our economic diplomatic charm is founded on good policy stance that we have pursued since the advent of the Second Republic and we will be staying on course to bring policy consistency,” he added.
Zimbabwe is currently warming up to the 14th of March, which will be the country’s exhibition day where His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa will lead from the front in selling the brand Zimbabwe at Expo 2020 Dubai.
