The Castle Lager Premier Soccer League is set to resume on the 12th of next month, after the festive season break.
The top flight had taken a break ahead of the festive season and the Africa Cup of Nations which is currently underway in Cameroon.
Premier Soccer league spokesperson Kudzai Bare confirmed the development.
“The PSL competitions resume on Saturday the 12th of February 2022 and the fixtures will be announced in due course. However, the transfer window closes on the 31st of March and opens on 8 January. We had informed the clubs the closing date,” he said.
The transfer window which opened on the 8th of this month will be closed on the 31st of March as most clubs are on the chase for fresh blood.
Meanwhile, Harare City are set to unveil a substantive coach this Wednesday.
Former Triangle United coach, Taurai Mangwiro is expected to retrace his footsteps to the Sunshine Boys taking over from Tarisai Kaseke who has been the interim coach.
Kaseke was holding fort after Lloyd Chitembwe returned to Caps United.
