IN the 3rd and final ODI match between Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe underway at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, the hosts have completed their innings reaching 254/9 in their allotted 50 overs.
Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat with their openers Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Mendis giving them a solid start with an opening partnership of 80 before Wellington Masakadza dismissed Mendis for 36.
Once Nissanka fell for 55 after being run out by Wesley Madhevere, the Chevrons continued to tear into the Sri Lankan batting line up with Richard Ngarava leading the charge with two wickets.
Ryan Burl, Tendai Chatara, Blessing Muzarabani and Sean Williams also chipped in with a wicket each.
Zimbabwe need to score 255 to win the match and the series.
The series is deadlocked at one all.
