The nation has expressed mixed emotions after the Warriors succumbed to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Malawi in an Africa Cup of Nations group B match in Cameroon this Friday.
The warriors had all the support from the nation during the match but the outcome left many with more questions than answers.
Silence shrouded the country after the Warriors succumbed to a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Malawi.
The Warriors encouraging performance in the first match against Senegal initially gave the nation an impression that the team would record a new chapter in the AfCON history but it was not to be.
Football enthusiasts are disappointed but some believe there is a base to build a future team on.
The Warriors will complete their group stage matches when they clash with Guinea this coming Tuesday.
Zimbabwe are at the bottom of group B without a point while Malawi are third with 3 points, a point behind Senegal and Guinea who have the same number of points.
