Warriors set to depart for Cameroon

THE Warriors have concluded their training in Zimbabwe and are set to depart for Cameroon this Wednesday ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations which kicks off on the 9th of next month.
The Warriors squad has been trimmed to 23 ahead of their Wednesday departure, with the travelling team set to be named at a news conference just before departure.
The team will be in Yaoundé until the 5th of January when they depart for Bafoussam where they are going to be based for group games.
General Manager Wellington Mpandare says everything is in order ahead of their departure.
“We are set to leave tomorrow afternoon and link up with Kundai Benyu in Ethiopia then the other five European based players will fly direct to Yaoundé, the team is in good spirits and we hope for a good time,” said Mpandare.
The Warriors are in Group B together with giants Senegal, Guinea and Southern African neighbours, Malawi.
