Rhinos honours best players

Black Rhinos football club has given its players a Christmas cheer by honouring some of its best performers in the Chibuku Super Cup despite failing to make it past the quarter-final stage.

Chauya Chipembere are leading by example in ensuring that football players enjoy the festive season just like any other worker.

It has been another difficult year disrupted by the raging COVID-19 pandemic with the Chibuku Super Cup providing some bit of action in domestic football.

While the army was eliminated at the quarter final stage that has not deterred them from honouring their best performers.

The player of year accolade which comes with 550 United States dollars went to former Dynamos forward, Tawanda Macheke, who was also Black Rhinos’ top goal scorer.

Prince Milansi, who was the Rookie of the year, was rewarded with football boots and 200 United States dollars.

Uche Phiri was rewarded for being the most consistent player, while Davison Marowa got recognition for being the most improved player.

Vincent Mhandu was honoured as the most loyal player, Collin Kwaramba was the most disciplined among his peers with Stanley Chokwana being the goalkeeper of the year.
