HARARE City and Yadah have a clean bill of health after conducting Covid-19 tests 48 hours before their league encounter set for the national sports stadium this Friday.
The coast is clear ahead of the Premier Soccer League encounter featuring Harare City and Yadah at the National Sports Stadium this Friday after all players were certified COVID-19 free.
The two teams went through their Thursday morning training sessions without any hiccups with Harare City coach, Tarisai Kaseke confident of collecting maximum points.
“We are happy to be back in training all the players are fit, I can say to some extend the break was necessary as it gave us time to fine tune. Some players have managed to return from injuries.”
Defensive midfielder, Ben Musaka’s return from Injury is another major boost for the Sunshine Boys who also welcome back captain, Marshal Machazane from injury.
Their opponents, Yadah are equally confident of their chances with Coach Genesis Magombe saying his charges are in the right frame of mind.
“After yesterday’s COVID-19 tests, there are no positive cases. We now have a large pool for selection save for two injury worries. The period gave us time to make tactical tweaks and we hope to win.”
Yadah are 17th on the longstanding after losing their first two matches, while Harare city are 13th with a single point from the same number of matches.
