Government has assured the nation that the fuel situation will improve as 28 000 000 litres of petrol is already moving along the pipeline with a further 37 000 000 expected in the country by Thursday this week.
Government has activated all systems to alleviate the petrol challenges triggered by a logistical challenge at Beira, with oil companies already working round the clock to collect fuel at Feruka.
Normalcy is expected by this Tuesday as 28 000 000 ltrs of the commodity have already been pumped along the pipeline according to Energy and Power Development Minister Hon Soda Zhemu.
Hon Zhemu said the vessel which was carrying fuel for Zimbabwe was prioritised and pumping commenced on the 4th.
