The Warrior’s preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations- AFCON finals set for Cameroon in January next year are in limbo with a new technical set up yet to be announced.
With the Zifa board on suspension, the ship seems to be wandering in the waters.
There is no plan, no coach or even certainty on the announcement of the national football team.
When the Sport and Recreation Commission (SRC) suspended the ZIFA board two weeks ago, they promised to appoint a caretaker committee to manage local football, but nothing has been done yet.
While the nation awaits for the way forward, SRC Chairman, Gerald Mlotshwa who was the guest on ZBCTV football programme, Game Plan this Wednesday insists they have good intentions no matter the cost.
What remains a fact though is that the Africa Cup of Nations is just over a month away and ZIFA has no leadership while the Warriors have no Coach.
