2015 Premier Soccer League champions, Chicken Inn are ready to upset defending champions FC Platinum when the two teams meet in the pick of this weekend’s Premier League fixtures at Mandava Stadium this Saturday.
In arguably the biggest match of weekend, Chicken Inn is hoping to beat FC Platinum in their own backyard based on their previous success at the same venue.
Chicken Inn managed to collect four points in their last two visits to Mandava Stadium and head coach Joey Antipas is hoping for more of the same.
“We are prepared and raring to go. The boys are eager to go and we are aiming for maximum points,” said the Coach.
His opposite number, Norman Mapeza feels his team is equally prepared for the big clash with the fans set to be the proverbial 12th player.
“Apart from the travels we are ready we don’t have injuries and the fans have always stood by us, so them coming back is good for us and they will rally us, the players missed them and I hope they will help,” said Mapeza.
Meanwhile, Bulawayo City are confident of a winning their first match when they host Manica Diamonds at Barbourfields on Saturday.
“Yes we suffered a huge defeat at the hands of Ngezi but we take that as a learning process but we are confident that the next game will give us positive results going forward,” said Philani Ncube – Bulawayo City Coach.
Bulawayo City have a huge task on their hands as their opponents are coming from a morale boosting four nil win in their first league match.
