Reigning Premier soccer league champions, FC Platinum are raring to go ahead of their Chibuku super cup semi-final encounter against Harare giants Dynamos at the National Sports Stadium on Sunday.
FC Platinum last tasted Chibuku Super Cup glory in 2014 after dispatching Harare City in the final.
Coach Norman Mapeza whose side progressed to the semi-finals at the expense of Bulawayo giants Highlanders says are ready to leave a mark in the competition, despite the fierce competition expected from the Glamour Boys.
“We will play our cards well because we know the team we are facing, they are a good side and they have been doing well but we are prepared as FC,” he said. However, FC Platinum have their work cut out as they face an unbeaten Dynamos who have made their intentions of winning the Chibuku Super Cup clear.
Dynamos who sailed through the group stage without losing a match are also solid at the back having conceded just two goals and coincidentally both were own goals against CAPS United.
The other semi-final fixture will see Cranborne Bullets locking horns with Ngezi Platinum stars on Saturday.
