Ethical foundation in corporate governance and management has been cited as key in building systems that can thrive even in the most difficult circumstances.
Businesses have been implored to take ethics seriously as part of their corporate governance and management systems.
Speaking at the inaugural business ethics awards this Friday Guest Speakers Deputy Director Corporate Governance Unit in the Office of the President and Cabinet, Mrs Susan Sakala and Professor Mandivamba Rukuni, Director Barefoot Education for Africa Trust, spoke on the need for leadership to instill sound business ethics.
Executive Director Ethic Institute of Zimbabwe Bradwell Mhonderwa spoke on the objectives of the business ethics awards while recipients of the awards applauded the organisers for the recognition.
The awards honored seven businesses that have shown exceptional commitment towards embedding strong ethical practices as part of their corporate governance and responsible management systems.
