ZIMBABWE’s cement manufacturing industry has revealed an increase in demand for cement since January due to growth in infrastructural and real estate projects.
A construction sector expo held this Friday provided a platform for stakeholders to assess performances and outlook.
The key issue was the further increase in the order books of cement for most of the companies.
Players in the sector provided several reasons regarding the sudden surge in cement demand.
The expo, which also attracted construction sector value chain entities created a platform for discussions on how the industry is now adapting to modern machinery systems.
