All is set for the inaugural Africa Continental Free Trade Area Conference which is expected to bridge the rural-urban divide through promoting industrialisation.
The Africa Continental Free Trade Area conference which will be held from the 27th to the 29th of October will provide a platform for bringing development partners to Zimbabwe.
Director and Coordinator of the inaugural conference and Senior Lecturer with the Midlands State University Faculty of Arts Dr Godfrey Chikowore explained how Zimbabwe will benefit.
We are trying to situate Zimbabwe on the development trajectory hence we will bring on board developmental partners in a bid to drive rural industrialisation, he said.
Local and International partners are expected to take part at the forum which will be held under the theme ,”Africa continental free trade area challenges and deepening sustainable integration and transformation of rural-urban and resettled communities in southern and sub Saharan Africa in a covid-19 epidemic,agenda 2030:Africa age da 2063 and fourth industrial revolution phase”.
