Foreign Coach at Bulawayo Chiefs

It is set to be an exciting weekend of Chibuku Super Cup football action in Group two with the arrival of a foreign Coach at Bulawayo Chiefs the talk of town.

Although Chicken Inn and Highlanders have already booked their places in the quarter-finals of the prestigious Chibuku Super Cup, the group has been spiced up by the arrival of a foreign Coach at Bulawayo Chiefs, Nilton Terroso.

Terroso is already talking tough saying their objective is to spoil the party when they clash with 2015 League Champions, Chicken Inn at Babourfields stadium this Saturday.

Yes, this will be my first game in charge of this team, we have been working well with the boys and they are understanding my philosophy and we will be looking forward to upset our rivals come match day, he said.

Sitting pretty at the top of the log standings with 11 points, the Gamecocks will be hoping to cement their position and win the group while the Ninjas who are rooted at the bottom of the log with three points are playing for pride.

Defending Champions and second placed Highlanders will face Bulawayo City at the same venue on Sunday and they have hinted that they might give some of their fringe players a chance.

We want to win our last match against our rivals City as a platform for players who haven’t been playing before and those that are coming from injuries but we promise our fans a win, said Highlanders Assistant Coach Bekithemba Ndhlovu.

What is interesting though is that Highlanders who have 9 points still have an opportunity to win the group in the event of a slip up by Chicken Inn who are currently leading the group with 11 points.
