OUTSTANDING exhibitions at this year’s Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) have been honoured, with the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development scooping the top award.
The Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development stand was named the supreme Zimbabwean Exhibit at this year’s Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF).
For its outstanding work, the ministry walked away with the President’s Ward and the ZITF Gold Medal ahead of the Zanu-PF stand which was second.
Glytime Foods scooped the top prize in the first time exhibitors while TelOne won the most outstanding ICT exhibition, beating the parent Ministry.
Treger Products was also in the limelight as it scooped two gold medals, one bronze and one silver with the Ministry of Women Affairs, Community Small and Medium Enterprises Development getting prizes in the best exhibit in packaging plastics and clothing, footwear, textiles and accessories.
The outstanding exhibition in the small to medium enterprises went to the Home of Zanu-PF, which was competing with Altran Security and LEC Biotech in the category.
In the medical and health category, the top prize went to the Premier Services Medical Aid Society, while Mureza Auto won the outstanding foreign display.
The guest of honour, President Emmerson Mnangagwa presented the prizes.
