Messi unveiled at PSG

Football superstar Lionel Messi says Paris St-Germain have a team which is strong enough to win the Champions League.

The 34-year old Argentina captain was speaking at his first news conference after being unveiled as a PSG player.

Messi, who has won four Champions League titles with Barcelona, the last of which came in 2015 said his goal and dream is to win the coveted title once more.

PSG are still searching for their first title in the competition, having lost to Bayern Munich in the 2020 final.

Messi left Barcelona after the Catalan club said it could not afford a new deal under La Liga’s financial fair play rules.

Considered one of the greatest players of all time, Messi scored a record 672 goals in 778 games for Barcelona.

He won the Ballon d’Or a record six times and lifted 35 trophies during his time at Barcelona.
