The first Soccer Star of the year in independent Zimbabwe, Mandigora died at his Vainona residence on Saturday morning. Yogi as he was known in football circles, was revered for his clinical passing during his playing days at Dynamos.
After hanging his boots, yogi ventured into coaching.
Mandigora won the 2007 Premier Soccer League title with Dembare.
In 2008, he led dynamos to CAF Champions league semi finals after emerging from a tough group that also had Ivorian giants Asec Mimosas and Egyptian Titans and rivals Zamalek and Al Ahly.
He had coaching stints at Triangle United and in Mozambique among others.
