The Chibuku Super Cup reaches the halfway stage, with Group One matches taking centre stage this weekend.
Having faced each other more than 10 times, the most significant battle was the last match of the 2014 season in which ZPC Kariba only needed a draw to win the league, but alas Caps United had different ideas and edged the Kariba based side 3-2 to deny them their first ever silverware.
With CAPS United on six points while ZPC Kariba are a point behind, victory for either side will go a long way in creating breathing space between the two teams.
Makepekepe welcome back Phenias Bhamusi who has been out injured and if selected he will provide the much needed pace upfront.
For Gwenya Rechamhembe, experienced Goalkeeper Tendai Hove should be available for selection after missing last week’s match.
However, weekend action starts with struggling Yadah and Herentals locking horns in an early kick off set for 11am at the National Sports Stadium on Saturday.
Later on at 3pm, Dynamos square off with Harare City at the same venue in another potentially exciting encounter with the two teams separated by two points.
