DESPITE watching his team conceding an awful nine goals in two matches, Whawha head coach Luke Petros remains hopeful that his men will strike the right chord in the remaining four group matches of the Chibuku Super Cup.
The prison wardens remain the only side which has not scored a goal in Group 4 and the team with the most porous defense in the tournament after letting in nine goals in two games.
While admitting his men are low on confidence, WhaWha coach Luke Petros says he is taking a leaf from the top performing teams in their group and is eager to turn around the team’s fortunes.
The former Warriors marksman believes the match against Triangle will be the turning point.
“We are looking at areas where we need to strengthen and we happy with the performance of the youngsters and we will rectify our mistakes in the league and have a better start,” said Luke Petros.
Whawha can take comfort from the fact that they will meet fellow strugglers, Triangle who have not fared any better after losing their first two matches.
