WARRIORS’ defender Teenage Hadebe is finally getting the recognition that he deserves in the Turkish Super Lig with the player’s impressive form earning him the Player-of-the-Week award.

Gangly Warriors defender Teenage Hadebe is having his best time in Turkey, producing superb performances week-in week-out, which has seen him being instrumental in Yeni Malatyaspor’s quest to stay afloat.

The former Chicken Inn and Highlanders defender’s top-drawer performances have earned him the Player-of -the-Week accolade in the Turkish Super Lig following his consistency on the field of play.

Hadebe won 53% of the votes ahead of Galatasaray’s Keremu Akturkoglu’s 11%, Elba Rashani of BB Erzurumspor 27% and Fenerbahçe’s Harun Tekin’s 9%.

The Zimbabwe international defender also earned his team some valuable three points when he scored in Yeni Malatyaspor’s 1-0 win over Alanyaspor in a Turkish Super Lig clash at the New Malatya Stadium on Saturday.

Hadebe’s performance has come at the right time especially for Warriors coach Zdravko Logarusic as Zimbabwe gears up for the 2022 Qatar World Cup qualifiers which begin in June with a potentially explosive clash against neighbours South Africa at home before the team travels to Ethiopia a week later.
