WARRIORS Defender Marshall Munetsi continues to impress in France after starring in his team’s recent fixture.

Munetsi was rated as the best defender in this past weekend’s round of fixtures.

The former Orlando Pirates man had a 7.2 rating in the French Ligue 1, Uber eats stats after he played another accomplished game for Stade de Reims as they drew 2-all with Rennes.

Reims have not lost any of their last 7 matches and Munetsi has started all those matches in central defence.

Already talks of interest from English clubs has started to filter through and if he maintains current form, it is only a matter of time before one materialises.

Elsewhere, Alec Mudimu played the entire game for Ankaraspor in their crucial 4-2 victory over Akhisar in the second tier of Turkish football.

In South Africa, Ovidy Karuru was unable to weave his usual magic as relegation-threatened Black Leopards lost one-nil to a  resurgent AmaZulu who had Talent Chawapiwa coming in as a second half substitute.

Meanwhile, Khama Billiat is expected to make his first league appearance this year after recovering from a leg injury, when Kaizer Chiefs travel to Cape Town for a date with Stellenbosch this Tuesday.
