WARRIORS Captain Knowledge Musona is bullish ahead of their dead rubber Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Zambia at the National Sports Stadium this Monday.
The Warriors play their final Group H match against Zambia after qualifying for AFCON 2022 with a game to spare.
Captain Knowledge Musona will join Peter Ndlovu as the only captains to lead the nation to 2 successive AFCON tournaments.
The Smiling Assassin will also lead a stellar cast of players who are set to play their third successive AFCON and these include Khama Billiat and Ovidy Karuru, among others.
Ahead of the match, it is the nation that comes first.
It is a team effort, Knowledge wouldn’t be here without the team, the overall goal is for the team to qualify and do well, yes records are there Peter was a great captain and I am happy I managed to lead and my hope is that another captain will come and lead as we did and even do better,he said.
Indications are that the team will be much changed, with those who received knocks or carrying yellow cards set to be rested.
