All set for the 2021 Formula 1 season

THE 2021 Formula 1 season is set to bounce back end this month after all the teams participated in the pre-season testing race in Bahrain over the weekend.

This season comes with a tough competition as all teams set to compete for the 2021 title. All the teams took part in the F1 testing in Bahrain including the defending champion Lewis Hamilton who won his 7th F1 World Championship title last year equaling the legend Michael Schumacher’s record.

Some drivers changed teams which brings much competition from both senior and junior drivers. Former Scuderia Ferrari senior driver Sebastian Vettel joined Aston Martin while Lewis Hamilton renewed his contract with Mercedes-AMG Petronas.

Redbull’s driver Max Verstappen who always posed competition for Mercedes-AMG drivers remains at Redbull as he completed the Bahrain pre-season testing without complications and he said he is looking forward to the Bahrain Grand Prix.

Scuderia Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz also impressed at the Bahrain pre-season testing and Leclerc hopes for a better season this year after a disappointing 2020 season where he faced many challenges with his car.

Mick Schumacher the son to the F1 legend Michael Schumacher will be taking part in the 2021 F1 season under Haas F1 team. He completed the pre-season testing despite facing gear box challenge on Friday, Mick went on to clock 76 laps yesterday.

Japanese Yuki Tsunoda who will be taking part in 2021 F1 season under Scuderia Alpha Tauri Honda coming from F2 hopes to become the first Japanese driver to win the F1 world Championship. Honda constructors were impressed in the pre-season testing and they noted that they need to improve before the season starts.

All teams are ready to go and the 2021 season kicks off with the Bahrain Grand Prix on 28 March followed by the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix to be held in Italy on 18 April.
