The Zimbabwe National Paralympic team arrival at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport from Dubai this afternoon, after managing to qualify for the Tokyo 2021 Paralympics Games.
They were received at the Robert Mugabe International Airport by Youth, Sport, Arts and Recreation Minister Honorable Kirsty Coventry, who praised the team for returning home with seven medals, despite the challenges imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The three athletes who will be going to Tokyo 2021 Paralympics include Albert Singele men’s 1500m, Pamela Vimbai Shumba women’s 100m and Vimbai Zvinowanda 100m women athletics.
