Mighty Warriors Captain Emmaculate Msipa has found a new home after moving to Spanish side CF Joventut Almassora on a one-year deal with an option to extend.
Msipa has become the second local female footballer to break into European football after she was snapped up by Spanish side CF Joventut Almassora.
Msipa signed a one-year contract with the Segunda Women Division club and the contract will be extended if she performs well.
The Black Rhinos Queens star midfielder who is also one of the senior players in the Mighty Warriors fold is a product of Mufakose Queens where she was under the guidance of respected Coach Langton Giwa.
Msipa was part of the Mighty Warriors team that made history by qualifying to the 2016 Rio Olympics in Brazil and also played at the 2011 All-Africa Games held in Maputo Mozambique.
She has also been a regular for the Mighty Warriors having featured for the team at several COSAFA women’s tournaments.
To add on to her colourful CV, Msipa was also the 2019 top goal scorer in the Zimbabwe Women Soccer League.
She is expected to leave the country on Wednesday for Spain as she begins her journey in one of Europe’s best leagues.
