Pakistan women’s cricket team jets in

The Pakistan women’s cricket team arrived in the country this afternoon(Thursday) ahead of their historic tour to Zimbabwe where they will play the Lady Chevrons in One day international matches and T20 Encounters.
The team arrived in this Afternoon at the Robert Mugabe international Airport from South Africa where they have been on another tour.
The series will mark the first time the Zimbabwe senior women’s team will be involved in international cricket since May 2019.
Zimbabwe and Pakistan will be using the tour as part of their preparations for the ICC Women’s 2021 World Cup Qualifier, a 10-team tournament that will be held in June and July.
This will be the second time that Zimbabwe will host a country that has ODI status, having hosted Ireland in 2018.
Meanwhile, the lady chevrons are continuing with their preparations for the Pakistan series.
The lady Chevrons have been playing practice matches as provinces to boost match fitness ahead of the three ODIs and two T20 matches from the 11th to the 20th of February,
