Lunga continues to impress in SA

WARRIORS left back Devine Lunga continued with his fine form after another outstanding display as he led Golden Arrows to a 2-nil win over giants Orlando Pirates in the South African top flight this Tuesday.
With rumours rife that Mamelodi Sundowns have forked out around 12 million rand for the services of the Zimbabwe international and have loaned him back to Arrows, Devine Lunga continues to show why Masandawana would not be worried about the fee.
The former Chicken left back was involved in the build up of Golden Arrows’ two goals while his fellow Zimbabwean Knox Mutizwa was a constant threat, albeit without finding the back of the net.
Mutizwa who scored in the previous encounter could have given Arrows the lead after five minutes when he hit a first-time curler that was forced behind for a corner-kick by Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Richard Ofori.
In another match, Butholezwe Ncube’s Amazulu needed an added time goal to edge Bloemfontein Celtic 4-3 in an exciting encounter.
The Warriors trialist played the full 90 minutes, while Ronald Pfumbudzai was not in the Celtics’ line up.
Elsewhere, Never Tigere’s goal earned Bruce Kangwa captained Azam FC a draw against giants TP Mazembe in an international friendly played in Tanzania.
