Former Caps United midfielder, Antony Kambani, has died.
Kambani, who featured for Makepekepe in the 1980s alongside the likes of Joel Shambo and Friday Phiri, died in Harare this Wednesday.
Sources close to his family say Kambani died at Sally Mugabe Central Hospital where he had been taken to after complaining of hypertension.
His mastery of the central midfield during his heydays earned Kambani the nickname “Bryan Robson”.
Meanwhile, FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza’s father Michael, succumbed to a Covid-19 related illness at a private hospital in Harare this Thursday morning.
He was 81.
