Five FC Platinum players have tested positive to Covid-19 and cannot participate in today’s CAF Champions League match.
After serious protests and a letter of complaint to the match commissioner, FC Platinum said that they are playing the second leg of this CAF Champions League against Simba SC, under protest.
Just after 1330hrs today, the long-awaited results were presented to Joseph Mususa the General Manager, with shocking details.
Simba SC are reported to be employing dirty tactics to win the game against FC Platinum after they released the results at the last minute.
Five players, four of which were in the starting lineup tested positive for COVID-19 plus three officials.
This has hit FCP hard, leaving Mapeza with last-minute changes to make.
